My late Father was a keen photographer and left albums with interesting pictures of life in the late 1930's and the immediate post-War period.
Many of his childhood holidays were spent on the banks of the River Clyde else on family farms in the Perthshire area.
This special section features the Empire Exhibition of 1938 held in Bellahouston Park in Glasgow.
I decided to bring these old photos out of the albums and by means of the internet display them to show these images of a bygone age.
